To break in your Akadema glove or mitt, we recommend simply going out and playing catch or using the Akadema Mitt Masher with its ball forming pocket to form your baseball glove or softball glove. Manipulate the leather to your desired form and use it on the field as much as possible. Do not tie your glove up, microwave, or dunk your baseball glove or softball glove into boiling water.

Stay away from oils and conditioners that tend to do little more than make the glove heavy. Only spot condition with Akadema Conditioner to clean and restore the gloves oils at the end of each playing season.
